Mangha Ram Kar, 92, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024. He was born in Karachi, India, son of Jairam Das & Laali Bai. Mangha was an accomplished salesman who received numerous awards, including the Best Salesman Award from the President of India in 1985, and Best Salesperson, California Region, for multiple years.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mohini Kar; children Pran (Neera) Kar, MD, Lalit (Monica) Kar, and Vineeta (Nripendra) Dhillon; grandchildren Dhruv (Ritika), Sunny (Niki), Mehul (Amisha), Paavani, Jeena (Tobin), and Karun; great-grandchildren Akira, Sofia, Krish, and Amey. Mangha was preceded in death by his siblings Jetha, Jethi Bai, Ruki, and Chiman.
Mangha was a self-made man, the best father, the most fun grandfather, and the most playful great-grandfather. He was loved amongst all of his relatives, friends and everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
